Engraving Service

There is no character limit. If your engraving details are long, the engraved wordings will appear smaller. We will determine on how to best engrave so that your engravings are visible. Sometimes, we will split into 2-4 lines. Alternatively, you can also opt for 2-sided engraving. You may specify specific size and position of the engraving as well.

To add icons engraving with the text, opt for one-sided or two-sided engraving. Specify which icon(s) you'd like to add with the text under "Engraving Detail". For a more complex engraving position, you can draw the position out and upload an image for us to follow.

Custom illustration does not include illustration service. This option is for engraving an outline illustration. Upload an image of the outline illustration and we will engrave the illustration provided by you.

Write on a piece of white paper with black ink and take a picture, or scan the paper for the submission. Add "Handwriting" + "Cursive" to cart for handwriting engraving.

If you'd like a custom font or icon, please send us the files of the font or image. Alternatively, if you need our help to find a suitable font or image, there will be an additional charge of $5. In this case, you can add "One-sided" + "Standard" to your cart.

By placing an engraving custom order with Dear Diary Co., you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Engraving Specifications: Engraving is done according to the specifications provided by the customer. Please ensure that all details, including font size, position, and design preferences, are accurately conveyed at the time of order. If no specific instructions is given, our team will engrave your piece(s) to the best of our ability and sense of aesthetic.
2. Processing Time: Custom engraving orders typically require 1-3 working days to process. This timeframe is subject to changes based on the complexity of the order and current engraving schedules. You will be notified of any significant delays.
3. Non-Refundable Payment: A non-refundable payment is required for engraving orders. This payment will be applied towards the total cost of the order. In the event of cancellation, the payment will not be refunded.
4. Final Sale: Due to the personalised nature of custom engraving orders, all custom engravings are final sale. These engraving service and engraved items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable unless they arrive damaged or defective.
5. Variations: Custom engravings may exhibit slight variations in expected sizes and positioning. As each piece is done by hand, slight variations may occur, and a positioning variance of up to about 10% may occur and is considered acceptable, hence, we seek for your understanding. These variations are part of the unique engraved jewelry and should not be considered defects. If re-engraving is requested due to slight variations, a small fee will be required to cover the cost.
6. Shipping: Custom engraved orders will be shipped once the order creation process is complete and full payment has been received. Shipping times will vary based on the destination and chosen shipping method.
7. Changes to Order: Any changes to the order after production has begun may incur additional charges and may extend the processing timeline. Please communicate any desired changes as soon as possible.
