In the heart of heritage, where colour blooms and memories linger like soft spices in the air, Threaded Petals was born — a tapestry of time, weaving stories from Peranakan roots with threads of modern love.
Inspired by the graceful elegance of age-old traditions and the quiet strength of women who carry culture like lace upon their skin, this collection is a floral homage to the past, reimagined for the present.
Two tales unfold within this collection, each a story on its own, yet stitched from the same soulful lace.
Petal Tapestry
Behind every shuttered window and tiled step of a Peranakan shophouse, lies a world bursting with colour and character.
The Harmony House Series captures this kaleidoscope — four leaves forming a lucky clover, blooming in hues of pink, blue, yellow, and purple — each one a nod to the ornamental beauty and cultural richness of these architectural gems.
Every hue tells a tale, soft as silk and full of love: Pink — the gentle bloom of homecoming hugs. Blue — the shy of skies above tiled dreams. Yellow — the golden sunshine dancing through memory lanes. Purple — the quiet poetry of matriarchs remembered at heart.
Like petals in a breeze, they gather in harmony — a bouquet of love, blooming softly through a floral compass.
Indigo Bloom
Butterfly in bloom, fluttering in freedom.Whispers of indigo flutter on porcelain plates, steeped in memory and colour — the Butterfly Blue Pea, once pressed for flavour and hue, now pressed into gold and shimmer.
This series captures the quiet poetry of a single bloom — a butterfly-shaped muse that has long danced through Peranakan dishes, dyeing rice with its natural ink and tinting hearts with nostalgia. Each piece in the Indigo Bloom Series is a flight through time: graceful, organic, and rich with meaning.
