Not-To-Dos and To-Dos
Avoid direct contact with perspiration, perfume, lotion and other chemicals,especially chlorinated pools for a longer lifespan. We understand that it may be hard to avoid perspiration in certain weather condition. Please be rest assured that our thick plating and e-coating still allows our pieces to be more resistance against perspiration for daily wear.
Be gentle with the jewelry pieces to extend the life span of these precious pieces.
Store in a cool, dry place such as in a pouch or air tight bags. Add silica gel sachet for extra protection against moisture and polish your pieces regularly with a silver polishing cloth.
More Tips & Care
Oxidation may occur with the contact of the listed “Not-To-Dos” for certain jewelry pieces. Chlorinated pools, perspiration, water and sea salt will cause the corrosion process to start or speed up for certain metals.
All plated jewelry will lose its colour (plating) one day as well. However, our 1-micron plating with e-coating ensures that our pieces can last very long.

Metals
At Dear Diary, we only use genuine S925 silver (sterling silver) with 18K gold or rhodium plating. These precious metals are known for its hypoallergenic properties with lesser alloy content that may cause allergies.
If you are looking for solid gold pieces in our designs, feel free to contact us for custom options.
90 Days Warranty
Dear Diary offers a 90 days period warranty for selected pieces, with free repair and maintenance service for all the jewelry purchased from our store. Maintenance service includes cleaning and polishing.
We will do our best to bring back the shine in your jewelry, however we cannot guarantee that your jewelry will be 100% back to the original condition.
